I'm just going to guess the meaning:
So the MC of this song got cheated on around highschool or when he was close to being an adult, and was told to just deal with it, and the people telling him "It won't matter when you're older" or the lyric "You'll get older." The highschool part also comes from that lyrics, insisting the MC is young. Also, the verse for the main part of the song is saying that hte MC would do nything for his lover to com back, even if she did cheat on him again, by saying "call me fighter,' which refers to "i'll fight the heart break of you cheating." then the lyrics "Call me lover," and "I'll mop up the floor with you" refers to saying 'i'll still be your lover no matter what" and "I'll help you clean up the mess in this relationship, just please don't leave me." also, to prove the fact that he would do anything for her, he offers to take her on a first date again, saying "I'll take you for a drink or two." yeah i'm done now.
