Lady Gaga – Just Dance lyrics
Redone, Konvict
Gaga, oh-oh, eh

I've had a little bit too much, much
All of the people start to rush, start to rush by
How does he twist the dance? Can't find a drink, oh man
Where are my keys? I lost my phone, phone

What's going on on the floor?
I love this record baby but I can't see straight anymore
Keep it cool, what's the name of this club?
I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance

Wish I could shut my playboy mouth, oh oh oh-oh
How'd I turn my shirt inside out? Inside outright
Control your poison babe, roses have thorns they say
And we're all getting hosed tonight, oh oh oh-oh

What's going on on the floor?
I love this record baby but I can't see straight anymore
Keep it cool, what's the name of this club?
I can't remember but it's alright, a-alright

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just

When I come through on the dance floor checkin' out that catalog
Can't believe my eyes, so many women without a flaw
And I ain't gon' give it up, steady tryin' to pick it up like a car
I'ma hit it, I'ma hit it and flex and do it until tomorr' yeah

Shawty I can see that you got so much energy
The way you're twirlin' up them hips 'round and 'round
And now there's no reason at all why you can't leave here with me
In the meantime stay and let me watch you break it down

And dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance

Woo! Let's go!

Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint, it's symphonic
Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint electronic

Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint, it's symphonic
Half psychotic, sick, hypnotic
Got my blueprint electronic

Go! Use your muscle, carve it out, work it, hustle
I got it, just stay close enough to get it
Don't slow! Drive it, clean it, lights out, bleed it
Spend the lasto
(I got it)
In your pocko
(I got it)

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm

Just dance, gonna be okay, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, spin that record babe, da da doo-doo-mmm
Just dance, gonna be okay, d-d-d-dance
Dance, dance, just, j-j-just dance

"I've had a little bit too much" means that she has taken too many drugs and that everything starts to rush by. The chorus doesn't come from her, but from her friend who is telling her to "Just Dance" and that it's gonna be okay. The song is basically saying that she has taken too many drugs and her friend has told her to enjoy herself, just dance and that it's going to be okay and is distracting Lady Gaga by saying "spin that record" It's catchy but its not my kind of thing.

Ok, so I haven't logged on in a while. And was I shot down with my last comments about this song. But to all those who disagree with me, I'm prayin for you and hope that one day you can see how jacked up the world really is. I did not mean to offend anyone but I am not sorry for putting my opinion out there. I still feel the same way. Todays world is just wrong and depressing. Don't get me wrong, I'm a happy person, the Lord has set many blessings before me, but I just wish that everyone else would let Him too. And btw, some one made the comment that the opiniions of Christians is irrelevant and doesn't matter. Not so, beloved. Belief in the Lord Jesus Christ is not something to keep to yourself. It is to be evedent that God is at work in you for the purpose of leading others to Christ. Anyway, Jesus loves you all and so do I, but I'm still praying for you. :)

This song has a great beat and got me in a "happy" mood when I heard a short piece of it on the radio. However, after just reading the lyrics, I am ashamed that I downloaded it on my Chocolate. Its kinda nasty. Offensive to me. Not too Godly. What does Jesus think about my purchase? :( I am 200% sure that He hasn't busted a move on it. And wont. May I ask a question to anyone who may care? Why is the standards of today so horrible? If "we the people" are the people and so many of us (i hope I'm not the only one out there) think that songs like this and what we see on T. V. And what are "done in secret" are so bad, then why do we do nothing? We have the right to change the worlds mentality and standards! We are it! That's how we got to this point. So I ask, with much concern, what will we choose the world to be this generation? It will have a tremendous effect on the next one. And it will have a great effect on the next one. As I said, that's how we got here. To be bluntly honest, I pray that Jesus comes before we throw all morals and standards away. And this comment isn't meant to offend anyone. But I find it my american right and (most importantly) my christian duty to put in my two cents. Thanks. Sincerely, trisha kott.

The "horrible standards" of today are nothing less than the expression of the freedom that Americans and technically all humans have when it comes to the expression of music. Music is full of similes, analogies and metaphors and usually consist of sentiments that people would normally stamp out and avoid. A song that talks about s** and "hittin it until tomorrow" may sound dirty to you or others but I personally believe the 'impurity' of the lyrics are the embodiment of the lack of inhibitions that comes with the unadulterated expression of music. Trust me, God wants you to be yourself, and he doesn't care that you think that other people that this song might be dirty. The opinions of every insignificant person at your church doesn't matter lol the relationship you have with God is between you and him.

Ok first of all. This song is clearly about going to a club. It explains everything in the song. The drinking, the dancing. All of it. And if you are a female and you drink. It's very likely that you'll want to dance non stop when you're drunk. You love every song and you just want to dance even though you look like a drunken moron. You are not aware until the next day. That sums up everything this song says. She's talking about a lot of females when they drink at a club. Or not. It could be anywhere. But they just want to dance.
