    Some People say that they think this song is about turning evil or falling into the devil's hands or whatever, But I believe it is just about being different... having your own personality, "Let go of the light, Fall Into the dark side" I strongly believe this means, stop being a sheep and following the crowd's strange or cool trends but be your own person.

    I dont think song is a about becoming evil. I think it more about being yourself, even if you are afraid that you will be discriminated or scorned for who you are. Letting go of the light represents what the world wants you to be, but the darkness is where you are you. Don't be afraid the shadows know me; I think that is saying that you have embraced who you are and are telling others that it's not something to be afraid. So I don't think it's about embracing evil and obeying the devil and leaving God at all. It may sound like that first when you listen to it, but I think the lyrics have a more positive and deeper message.

    Dark is nothingness which can be achieved, you are something which is not full in itself and everything which cannot be achieved, so fall into the dark side that is nothingness through yoga and Dhyana. I suggest to Sadhguru residing in Tamil Nadu India to achieve it or any other gurus

    Maybe the 'darkside' is what we think is different.The 'light' is what others do.What the norm is.Falling into it means that we let go of the things that are not for us.Stuff we are not meant to do and start appreciating ourselves for what we are no matter what the world says because what we fear,someone else might not.What we love,someone else might not.If there is no way to be physically exactly similar to another person,how can our dreams and passions be alike?I think this song is about giving in to your dreams and just being whoever we want to be

    I think light is something familiar, something se allready see clearly. Something tuhat older generations know and what they rised us to handle. Dark side can be dangerous, because we cannot see there. Young people can have enough courage to explore the dark side, and WHO knows, find something, like mee way of living, new way to think,...Even If they Area not kovera or friends, they understand they Area same generations and share The curiosity to see The dark side.

    I think the meaning of this song is that it's telling you that you can be whoever you want to be and be unique, instead of following other people and doing 'trendy' and 'fashionable' things, just BE YOURSELF. I think it is telling us that we can live however we want, and be your own type of person. The perspective of this song seems to be a person that wants to be something, but they are not allowed to. I find this song quite sad, and sadly- I can relate.

    I personally think this song has a bad meaning. That is because you’re letting go of the light which is god to go into the dark where what you guys call the devil is. And when you fall into the dark side, you are letting the devil take you and you’re doing what god probably wouldn’t want you to do. So if you just let god go and let the devil take you your choices aren’t going to be so good because you let go of god who is the person that helps you make the good choices instead of the devil who is influencing you to do the bad choices. But I read some other meanings and those could be possible too. This is just the most reasonable answer I, myself could come up with.
