Drowning Pool – Bodies lyrics
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the... Floor

Beaten, why for? (why for)
Can't take much more
Here we go, here we go, here we go now

One. Nothing wrong with me
Two. Nothing wrong with me
Three. Nothing wrong with me
Four. Nothing wrong with me

One. Something's got to give
Two. Something's got to give
Three. Something's got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Oh

Push me again
This is the end
Here we go, here we go, here we go now

One. Nothing wrong with me
Two. Nothing wrong with me
Three. Nothing wrong with me
Four. Nothing wrong with me

One. Something's got to give
Two. Something's got to give
Three. Something's got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Skin against skin, blood and bone
You're all by yourself, but you're not alone
You wanted in, and now you're here
Driven by hate, consumed by fear

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

One. Nothing wrong with me
Two. Nothing wrong with me
Three. Nothing wrong with me
Four. Nothing wrong with me

One. Something's got to give
Two. Something's got to give
Three. Something's got to give now

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor
Let the bodies hit the floor

Hey, go. Hey, go. Hey, go. Hey, go.

This song is simply about the mosh pit from the perspective of the stage.
"Drowning Pool frontman Dave Williams stated on Uranium that the song is about being in a mosh pit but that it has clearly been misinterpreted. Williams elaborated in a 2001 interview:.
"CJ came up with the riff, and I thought that was cool and I said, 'Let the bodies hit the floor,' and they looked at me and said, 'That's pretty cool.' We just built it around that hook and the rest fell in place. It's about my perspective when I look out and see the pit. It's about forgetting everything that has happened to you that week, leave your bullshit at the door and get it all out. But you have to have respect for the others in the pit. If you push them down, you have to pick them back up. I'm not going to get behind the violence thing, it is violent, but there is a certain amount of respect and a code." " from wikipedia.

I think it totally has a political message and reflects the anger towards the Left that at least this Conservative feels. I think this will be the fight song for the Right when the next Civil War starts soon.
“Nothing wrong with me...Push me again...Can’t take much more...Something’s got give...Here we go...You wanted in, now you’re here...Let the bodies hit the floor.”
Bring it on, pajama boy. I’m ready to fight. If you agree in my analysis, you might feel like “you’re all by yourself , but you’re not alone.”

Years ago I took my wife to see the stage show "Cats". As we were walking to our car after the show the six people who were with us were all talking about the show. My wife said, "I still don't get the plot". I said, "There is no plot. It is a show not a play". Nevertheless she was still disappointed not to have a plot. Let the bodies hit the floor is like that. Stop looking for some deep meaning that isn't there. C'mon guys, it wasn't written by Don McLean.

I actually think this song talks about concited people, people who tink there all that and have no flaws and so they beat on the people that they think do have flaws, then the part in the song where he counts, the bridge, is like them thinking there flawless and not wrong but then hes saying there wrong and sayng that someone has to give in, and then the chorus "Let the bodies hit the floor" is like sying let te enemy fall,.
