Chris Tomlin – Jesus Messiah lyrics
He became sin
Who knew no sin
That we might become His Righteousness
He humbled himself and carried the cross

Love so amazing
Love so amazing

Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

His body the bread
His blood the wine
Broken and poured out all for love
The whole earth trembled
And the veil was torn

Love so amazing
Love so amazing, yeah

Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

All our hope is in You
All our hope is in You
All the glory to You, God
The light of the world

Jesus Messiah
Name above all names
Blessed Redeemer
Emmanuel
The rescue for sinners
The ransom from Heaven
Jesus Messiah
Lord of all

This song is so beautiful. When I need some peace and a reminder of His love for me I listen to this. He is Messiah. He is the Holy One of Isreal. He is all that we need or can possibly want. He is the Word made flesh. He came to earth for me. Think about that He came to earth for you. He will return just as He said He would. Emmanuel, God with us. Oh Yeah!

To me this song is so lovely. I love my jesus so much because he paid a debt that he did not own, and I own that debt that I cannot pay. So my jesus is everything to me. I don't think the word love can even start to explain it. Thanx chris for this inspiration. :) I might be singing it as an inspiration at curch on sunday. Thanx gb!

Jesus messiah is savior to the world, who came to save not the righteous but the unrighteous. Is love is uncompreshible, we cannot understand because it has no flaws. He will be there in your darkness moments when your feeling alone and when you have absouletly no one to turn to, he will pick you up and it never matters how much wrong you've done he will always love you!

The first verse is taken from 2 Corinthians 5:21, "God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. This mean that if we believe in Jesus and put our trust in Him then we are declare righteous by God.. We are saved by Christ and in Him, not by our good work and our good character. Our right standing with God is the result of Christ work on the cross, where He took all our sins. He knew no sin. No sin in Christ, but at the cross he became sin. How can a sinless righteous person become sin? He took OUR sins. And at the cross, Christ exchange His righteousness for our sins. Therefore, those who put their faith in Christ and believe Him have the right standing before God. Before God, they are righteous, perfect, spotless and has the right relationship with God. That is why in Christianity, salvation is a gift from God. It cannot be earned by our good work and character. Many, even Christian tend to think that it was because of their act of repentance and good work they are righteous and hence deserve to God's favor. Wrong! It's only because of Christ work on the cross. Such act is called amazing love; amazing grace.
That is why Jesus is called the Messiah, our Redeemer and Emmanuel (God with us) and worship Him.

Jesus is the answer to all of our needs! Just pay attention to what he has already done. Meditate upon it. Get appreciation for his love for you individually, and ask for, accept, and walk in his salvation as it is he desires for you to so that you can be free of all sin and be able to escape the wrath of god in the judgment. God has provided--now let's worship him for giving us his son!
