This song to me describes a girl who knows that being with this one person is what's best for her. She has walls built from being hurt that she keeps doubting and keeps walking away from him and coming back and he always takes her back. She wants him to see through her walls so he can handle all her insecurities. It's easy to give up then to go through something that could end up as heartbreak. She knows deep inside that home is in his arms but she's so scared to get hurt and let go and just let it be.

I think this song could mean what she says about leaving darkness behind, but the first time I heard it the only thing that came to mind was her and the illuminati. It's obvious from her videos she is a puppet of theirs I feel this since she is in love with "judas" who betrayed jesus, she loves "them" because they brought her fame, money and everything she wanted but she knows it's wrong. She wants to get away from the illuminati, but she can't, she clings to them because she wants fame, she sold herself to them, but she knows it isn't right, but she will do anything for them to stay famous, despite knowing it's wrong. (when he comes to me I am ready I wash his feet with my hair if he needs) also comparing herself to mary magdeline, who she is also said to be playing in the music video.
