This song is about the main character going arrowhead hunting (looking for beads and flint Knapp arrowhead points in the rivers and creeks). The story begins by talking about shoveling the overhangs (the edge of the creek that gets eroded over time). The B-1 is in reference to a B-1 bomber of today is like the arrowhead points of the native Americans before Europeans arrived. Listening for glass sounds against the shovel and searching for someone else’s “Knapp”. The lyrics are incorrect where is says “map” it’s actually Knapp. This is Lyrics above are incorrect.”hunting someone else’s knapp”. Same goes for the use of nap time. Should it’s referring to the period in American history when native Americans would flint Knapp their arrowhead points.

It’s about looking for cool rocks and arrowheads and such (several references to flint knapping). The main character is a kid (knee high to a cricket) who finds all the good stuff. The character telling the story comes home to his wife/gf without any rocks or relics but realizes she is the greatest earthly jewel.
