It’s about a dead body that was dropped weighted into a lake it took hundred of listens and listening to every word but this is the only logical conclusion I could come to. He got mixed up in something over his head and got whacked and now he’s dead at the bottom of a lake and no one will ever find him because he’s been weighed down at the bottom of a lake

He wishes he can just be strong enough to get out of his own way. But his pride & ego won't let him . He just can't seem to let his guard down low enough or long enough. Seems like just when he almost has it in his hands . something comes to the surface and he's lost grip and sinking again. Because he spent so much time in this never ending cycle this time around. he just doesn't believe anyone can reach him that anyone could find him soulfully. But there are Seriens & deep sea divers that find lost treasure all the time.

There's someone who loves him with all they have & they just keep trying to show him. He knows she loves him just how he needs. But he doesn't want to burden/hurt her. He doesn't want to love her back afraid of himself. H Can't get past his "selfish" vicious cycles. He's stuck in his world of depression in which mostly followed by other bad choices to attempt to ease it all. But every time he reaches the point of realization. He just self distructs another way over fear & self loathing. Such as addictions, promiscuity, Shopping etc. He's Cold & lifeless at this point for the most part. [If people would let the ones who want to love them, love them. It could be a total game changer. You have to be willing to let go of what's distroying you. Let love in. Some people are built for your"burdens".].

I think the song is written from the perspective of someone who is very deeply depressed, either just pathologically, or perhaps because of events in their life. This person feels like there is absolutely no way they could overcome the depression they're in, and they feel like they will disappear without a trace.
