P!nk – It's All Your Fault lyrics
I conjure up the thought of being gone
But I'd probably even do that wrong
I try to think about which way
Would I be able to and would I be afraid

Cause oh I'm bleeding out inside
Oh I don't even mind (Yeah)

It's all your fault
You called me beautiful
You turned me out
And now I can't turn back
I hold my breath
Because you were perfect
But I'm running out of air
And it's not fair

Da da dada da dada da
Da dadadadadada da dadadadadada

I'm trying to figure out what else to say (What else could I say)
To make you turn around and come back this way (Would you just come back this way)
I feel like we could be really awesome together
So make up your mind cause it's now or never (oh)

It's all your fault
You called me beautiful
You turned me out
And now I can't turn back
I hold my breath
Because you were perfect
But I'm running out of air
And it's not fair

I would never pull the trigger
But I've cried wolf a thousand times
I wish you could
Feel as bad as I do
I have lost my mind

It's all your fault
You called me beautiful
You turned me out
And now I can't turn back
I hold (I hold) my breath (My breath)
Because you were perfect
But I'm running out of air (running out of air)
And it's not fair

(Oh yeah
It's all your fault)

I hold my breath
Because you were perfect
But I'm running out of air
And it's not (It's not) fair

This song is about the emotions of someone leaving you. The song opens " i conjure up the thought of being gone but i'd probably even do that wrong" a glimpse into pinks insecurities and vulnerability makes it a direct heartfelt conversation to between her and the man that left her. She says next " i try to think about which way would i be able to and would i be ok" she is talking about the internal struggle that is going on inside of her after being left. She is thinking about her next step in life, what next step should she take and she is evaluating every out come of each step she thinks of. Which is the best, which would she be ok, which would make the pain go away, which would she be able to do? The chorus of the song discusses how she misses being called beautiful, and how he was kind of a emotional crutch for her, he was perfect, and how its not fair that it was taken from her. She says she holds her breath. Because she still believes in them. But she's running out of air (he hasn't came back) she's losing that confidence that she had in their love. In the 2 nd verse she finally gave in to her hope which she seemed to be fighting in the 1 st verse. She is thinking about what she can say to make him come back and she says it by stating " i feel like we could be really awsome together" which is light hearted and easy. Which to me shows a glimpse of the type of pure honest direct love they had. No extras no over dramatics. "make up ur mind cuz its now or never" she's finally accepting the loss of the relationship even with hope at somepoint you have to accept and move on. In the 3rd verse she talks about how she said she would end the relationship a million times but that she'd never really end it period. Which is not only stating her love was real but also attacking him pretty much calling him out and mockingly questioning his " so called love" he had for her. And finally she admits to him that she's losing her mind from his absence in her life. And she seems to come to the realization after unknowingly self conciously supressing that emotion from herself throughout the entire song.

So sad, but so true. Pink's songs are just soo easy to relate to. The way she uses the 'boy who cried wolf' as a sort of metaphore rly got my attention. I don't know, but I think the song is about someone she loves, but won't take her. Rejection is one of the most awful feelings in the world and this song lets out a lot of the emotions out that build up from it. I recomend 'where I stood' by missy higgans for anyone who likes this song.
