Iwas watching T. I road to redemption and it got me thinking that this song came out after he was going to go to jail and he wrote about it because in 06' his bestfriend died and they have known each other since they were about 3 or 4 and the fact that he died just his life wasn't the same. And that when it happened his life turned around and he became a new person is what he means when in the song he says "the old me is dead and gone" and that no matter how many fights he gets in it doesn't matter what they're about but the fact that he is doing all of this just for his bestfriend that died.

This song is mostly about how he has finally found this girl that he is willing to gibe up everything for and letting her choose whatever and that he will love her no matter what and even when he or the girl dies.
And I'm tired of being all alone,.
And this solitary moment makes me want to come back home.
And maybe when he says that him and the girl got into a fight and now he wants to make up for it.
