The single men were begging Katy to be their future wife, but every time they screwed up, they were turned into candy and Katy ate them. This stage is metaphorically a test. Some of Katy's servants have also screwed up.

The guy that was cheating on Miley left her in a dreadful life and I think that she kept crying about it and eventually "died" because of that "disease". Miley wants to compromise, but it made it worse so she would do it herself to get over something like that. The wrecking ball in the music video did not really make sense to what the true message of it is.

Taylor is trying to say that the man that is bullying her has also been bullied in his life, which created who he is today. On that very day, the bullies will stop bullying the guy whose has been bullying Taylor. The guy cannot make her as cold as he is. The road represents bullying and the paths you take in life. Taylor has chosen the good path and the bad path has interfered with her life.
