These verses are pretty much saying that you are not the only Christian. Some people might be afraid of what others think if the are friends with non-Christians or if they get bullied for it. If we stick up for our beleifs we CAN change the world.

"I try my best to fit in, Looking for a suit to fit in..." means that when you TRY to fit in, instead of being yourself, you end up getting a new identity. If you TRY to fit you aren't staying true to yourself.
