The song was written from the point of view of a boy who grew up with protective parents who presented him with only the pleasant parts of life and hid the troubles and difficulties from him.
At some point in adolescence he realized that there were things my parents did not tell and that the world was not a perfect illusion.

I think this is a really honest song and speaks openly about the claim that the singers have about people in general and their fans in particular: you come to hear me sing and cheer for me and admire me but once I act not according to your expectations you make me a malicious monster. As if you are always behaving in the most decent way.

hi evrerybody! id like to share with you some thoughts i have about this beautiful song.
well, i think that this song says that when you really want something or someone and you are looking for it and then you yoe get lost in the searching becuase all of the distruction in the first place/and you forget what did you look for.

I think the meaning of this song is how in life we walk a thin rope in an attempt to reach the other direction safely.
We must learn not to look down, not to think about what could go wrong and the bad things. We have to look up, look at the goal and walk towards it. for example in love, you need to take a risk and fall in love without fear that your heart may break and therefore avoid love.
