Emerge from the gunsmoke like demons
Rehnskiöld's men
Charging their flanks
The enemy trembles with fear
The Swedish tactic was to march to close on the enemy, fire one devastating volley and then charge them with bayonets. In the Battle of Fraustadt, the swedes did exactly that. The swedes had the wind in their back so after the fired the gun smoke was blown into the Saxon ranks and temporarily blinded them, they could only see a few meters forward and then from there they saw thousand of swedes running at them. The Saxons were shocked and the entire army almost fled in panic after the first carolean bayonet charge, but the Saxon's managed to not run away horribly although the swedes were going through their lines like a hot knife through butter. Soon after this the swedes cavalry which had positioned itself on the Saxon flanks surrounded the Saxons. The Saxon's couldn't withstand being charged from three directions, even thought the swedes only were half the size of the Saxons they made them run home with the tail between their legs that day,
