I think Thunder Road is about life and time and how we wait until it is too late to live. That we need to "sieze the day" and make things happen while we can because time will steal our youth and it will be too late. it is up to us and we can't let our fears hold us back and keep us from our dreams. Don't settle! Don't listen to those who tell you why you can't! Get in the car, get on the train, get on a plane, lets go!
