I think this song is saying that no matter who says you shouldn't love someone because they are different looking than the people you hang out with or different than your parents. You can't help who you love. You can't help liking someone. Skin tone, hair color, clothes they shouldn't change you thoughts about someone because of something so easy to change.(not saying people should change so someone will like them.) but what I am saying this song says that you need to love who you love not who they love.

I think this song is about the many out looks on life. And if you don't use them they are gone, you aren't getting them back. To try and see things diffrent than what they actually physically are. And when the song says " i think im moving but i go nowhere " I think it means that people are moving past and your not noticeing what your can be loosing out on when in fact you can get alot out ofit,.
