Before I say anything about this song, this explanation is my own interpretation of the song and is in no way an actual reflection of what Taylor's actual choice behind the song. It's based on lots of rumours, the music, the video, and of course, the lyrics themselves. Taylor was going through a hard time, with loads of people cyber bullying her, for being an empty headed singer that wrote songs either about nothing, or about things she didn't know anything about. Of course, nobody likes to hear things like that, so she decided to write a song that says "You're waisting your time". The songs says, and shows, shake it off. It's about being yourself, and letting people have their opinions without necessarily listening to them. It's saying everyone is entitled to think what they want to, but you have a right to be who you are, what you are, do what you want and do what you ENJOY THE MOST. Personally, i think this song has a very good morale, that everyone should listen too, though remember: not everyone who's criticizing you means it in a horrid way, some are actually trying to help you be the best you can be. And that's what you should do. Now go, and shake!

This song is sung by a vamp, Spike, who's in love with the vampire slayer, Buffy. They have an affair of sorts, but Buffy doesn't want to tell her friends, "the scoobies" who helps with slaying. Spike can't hurt humans for there's a chip in his head, so he isn't even sure if it's love or the chip. Because she doesn't want the secret to be known, she's careful. Yeah, Buffy sleeps with him, but not that often. Spike, however, is getting tired of her, and when there's a demon in town who makes people sing their secrets, he sings this song. He's willing to do just about anything for her, "You've got a willing slave, and you just like to play the thought, that you might misbehave" That bit indicates that she is well aware of it, and likes to string him along (in his perspective, at least) "till you do, I'm telling you, stop visiting my grave" that bit clearly states that if she doesn't want him, he wants her to at least stop stringing him along, and sleeping with him. Spike really is an intriguing and complicated character. Although he's a bada*s vamp, he does, in fact, have a sweet side.

In this song, the main character, Buffy, a vampire slayer, had been brought back from the dead. But ever since she came back, she hasn't felt like normal, as if she doesn't fit in anymore, "nothing here is real, nothing here is right" Everything feels different. She just tries to go along, but she doesn't want her friends to know. "I've been making shows of trading blows, just hoping no one knows, that 've been going through the motions-" Yeah, you most probably get it. So, she pretends, going along, but isn't really feeling "I just wanna be, Alive" She wants to live, and is trying, but something just no longer feels quite right. everything is hard, and harsh in the world of the living, and she just tries to fit in, though it isn't really working. A sort of inside joke, is the bit "Nothing seems to penetrate my, heart" for those of you who don't get it, she stakes vamps through the heart. Yeah, it took a while before i spotted it. Another thing about not noticing stuff, is in the scene where she frees a super handsome guy (with muscles and sixpack and all) who goes, "How can i repay" in a slightly suggestive way, and she brushes him off with a "whatever." Yo, people who love this, go check out the episode, it's called "Once more, with feeling" and is absolutely riddled with songs, and i believe they are all on here as well. :)

In this song, the singer(s) isn't sure why he's feeling this way. "I don't even like you, hwy'd you go and make me feel this way?" The singer is extremely confused to why, so they begin to theorise "Tell me where you're hiding your voodoo doll 'cause i can't control myself" This is a song about new and unknown feelings. Also, there's a thin line between love and hate. Basically the singer has never felt love before, and if confused by what he's doing and saying and about how he's acting. The song is a very nice song. I had never in fact heard of 5SOS and when I heard of this it was when a friend was singing it. This is a really intriguing song, and has interesting lyrics (as you can tell, since you've probably read them) and, if you take a moment, also rather thought - provoking. I mean, anybody who's been in love, has a rather large probability to have had at least some of the symptoms mentioned, e.g. "it hurts in my head, in my heart, in my chest, and I'm having trouble catching my breath" and "I can feel yo watching even when you're nowhere to be seen. I can feel you touching, even when you're far. away. from me" I really like this song since I've been introduced, and I really hope you like it as well.

When writing this song, pink was going through a rough time with her love. They were on the verge of a divorce. This song says how since the beginning it was love at first sight, but now things are falling apart. This whole song is saying, yes, it's rough and tough now, but is this really it? What we had was so beautiful, I really can't and don't want to believe it's over. It's about wanting to give things another chance, not wanting to give up, declining defeat. It's wanting to fight through the tough times, the hard times, wanting to ride them through, and come back to a time when all is well, happy, and most importantly, good. It's about a broken heart, but wanting to mend it again. It's also a bit about not communicating "don't understand, where all of this is coming from" indicates that though she didn't like how things were going, "I thought that we we're fine (oh we had everything)" So, it's saying that when things are rough, don't give up, and that communication is, in fact, key to a good relationship. Oh, and if you're wondering what happened: They got back together and she wrote the song "true love".

This song is all about people not knowing you, and not even bothering, and judging you, and you just getting over it, and ignoring it. It's saying Yo people, I don't give a fudge about what you say about me, 'cuz it isn't even ter-ue, and imma gonna live my life to the uttermost fullest, and have a fan - freaking - tastic time doing it. It's saying how while people say things about you, there's always a way to fun. And while the people who have been judging you have been going on and on about what's wrong, they could have been doing a YOLO and having the best time of their life, 'cuz everytime should be the best. It's a song about being just who you are, and forgetting about all the other things in life that aren't important. It's not about the dark clouds, but about the Rainbow. It's all about letting people live THEIR LIFE, becuz it's THEIRS and living YOUR LIFE becuz it's YOURS. Yo. This song is a grand ol' song, and should be a number one in a positive list. I mean, nobody can feel sad with this one playing, becuz it's all about being happy, and that's what life (should be) about. Over & out, GO LIVE YOUR LIFE!

Okay, so this song is about 2 people buying a bag of red balloons. Simple enough, right? Well, not quite. They release all of them at the break of dawn on a summer day. Well, people see the red balloons and begin to panic. I mean, red balloons, that must mean something bad, right *note sarcasm*. Well, since the people are panicking, the government (in the song) gets together and people are beginning to, in fact, prepare for war. So, over the city that the balloons are floating, they drop bombs. And destroy the city. So, instead of carrying the dreams and bringing them to the people, the balloons brought destruction. So, as a memory, the main person releases one last red balloon. So, I personally feel like the song is about misunderstandings, and good intentions which are, in fact, misinterpreted to a whole new meaning. This song is a pretty song, in both the English and the German "99 luftballons" version. I really recommend to listen to both versions, because I really like the other version, though until I knew of the English version I wasn't sure what it is about. Also, another good thing about the song is that it starts peaceful, but once they are released a more rocky version starts.

There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.
Somewhere, over the rainbow, skies are blue
In this song, Dorothy Gale, a fifteen year old girl, is feeling wistful and slightly sad. Her dog, Toto, had been in her neighbour's garden, and she just heard that she was going to have the dog, and i'm not entirely sure about which, either put down or at least taken away. With the bit, birds fly over the rainbow, she means probably how she just wants the same as others, so why can't she do/have the same? This song is a really sweet and slightly fragile song. It's probably best sang by a sophrano, But really, if it's within your voice reach, you have to sing along. And if it isn't, just lower it the amount of octaves needed. You should do that with any song.

In this song, Anya and Xander vent their feelings about getting married. Both of them are scared, and shy, and nervous, but neither nof them want to tell the other one. That's why they keep singing I'll never tell. So, Anya was a vengeance Demon for women who wanted to get back at their husbands because (I've read, this tale, there's marriage than betrayal) Xander, also known as Alexander, Is a very nervous, geeky kind of guy. He has a slight stutter, but he's a loyal "scoobie" as he calls all the people who seem to be trying to help Buffy the vampire slayer slay all the evil people and stop all the evil things than come to sunnydale, which lies on top of a hellnouth, also known as a port to hell, the gateway to hell, or just the gateway, the way to the underworld, et cetera. This song is one of many venting songs. They don't actually have conrtoll, for Xander has let out a dancing demon who makes everyone burst out into song, but the evil bit is that when their emotions run high they burst out into flame, which is luckily not the case with these two lovebirds, thank goodness for that, eh?

Do you wanna build a snowman?
Or ride our bikes around the halls
I think some company is overdue
I've started talking to
The pictures on the walls-
(Hang in there, Joan!)
It gets a little lonely
All these empty rooms
In this bit, Anna goes a little bit crazy from loneliness, She is desperate for company, and tick-tocks with the clocks, she rides her bike around the halls (mainly in the halls because she isn't allowed outside) and the rooms are empty because there is such a little amount of staff. She says build a snowman, because she associates that with the fun times they had together. Yes, she is going crazy in this bit. I think this is the reason she is such a hopeless romantic, she's not sure what love is like because she has been shut out by her best friend, her sister.

This song comes from a film, the snowman. In it, a boy builds a snowman, and the snowman comes to life. The boy, of course, rejoices, and he and the snowman become good and close friends. The film is about their adventures. They meet other snowmen, and go to their parties. They have loads and loads of fun together. This song, is just after a party. The snowman takes the boy by the hand, and begins to run. As they run, they slowly get lifted into the air. That is when this song starts. The song is most probably sung by the boy. This is, as far as I know, the only real sort of talking they do. It is or the rest just music. They fly ver hoses, and the mighty monster which is mentioned, is actually a gigantic, enourmius dark blue whale. Some people spot them, and that also is reflected into the song. Also, just like in the song, They pass at least the things at least once. This song is a personal favorite, becase it sort of tells a story. It is based for a sophrano, but one could always go an octave lower. Though of course, one can do that with any song.

Right. Now, in the movie Mamma Mia, there is a lady. She doesn't have alot of money, and wishes at times (quite wistfully, in fact) that she did have alot. For, it's Always Sunny if you're rich. She has a vague plan, to marry a rich man. But in the song, she at least think that she's a very unlucky women. So, yeah. She wishes for more. And yes, she's rather poor. Things falling apart, and such. She had a few flings, three in a short period of time, and one of them she became pregnant with. Though, she doesn't know which one. Spoiler: At the end of the movie she marries, and get's her (Long forgotten) plan.
