Why: He's saying that people try to shut him down when talking about it, but others say he's doing the right thing. Assonance What: The repetition of a vowel sound in two or more words in the line of a poem. Where: "Listen, yo, this is the mindset I called in" Where: "We'll keep this shit, between me and you".

Imagery What: Representation of the five senses: sight, taste, tough, sound and smell. Where: "In a dark tunnel trying to find a light that wasn't there" Why: Because he wanted to create the image of the darkness for the listener. Where: "When live gives you the short string" Why: Wanted to put the image of the string, but he tells you it's short. Where: "It helps me out of the bottomless pit i crash landed in" Why: Puts the image of a pit that you can't see/find the bottom to, too tell you how deep it is.

Mood: is the feeling a poem/singer creates for the reader/listener. I feel empathy in this song, empathy is sharing the same feeling as the singer. The line is a sample of empathy "another way you hurt me, baby." A other mood is empowering because it directed at by doing so they use the word "you".

Tone is the attitude a poet (or singer) takes toward their subject. An attitude the singer takes in this song is the feeling of helplessness. The song being called "Irresistable" shows that the singer is literally unable to resist the person who is hurting them. Another example of helplessness is in the line "Like a moth getting trapped in the light by fixation". This reference is to the way, just like a moth to the light, he has no choice and is drawn to her. Another attitude that the singer has in this song is the feeling of depression.
