The song means that the guy loves the girl but he is so tired of seeing her hurt.
He wants to do what ever it takes to take away the pain but she is so drowned in her own sorrow that it's difficult.
The guy loves the girl and sees more then whats on the outside and he can see behind all her pain that there is still beautiful girl waiting for him.
I had this song dedicated to me by someone whom I love with all my heart.
Sadly we cannot see or be with each other. I go thru alot of pain with my family, and he went thru the same pain.
Life is so much more than just obstacles and pain.
