“Big Plans” is a song in which the singers are entreating a love interest to take a chance on a relationship. They acknowledge that circumstances may not be ideal for doing so. For instance, the crooner does not possess everything the woman wants. He also doesn’t have the resources, at the current moment, to acquire such. However, he still wants to be accepted not only based on the feelings they already share but also in light of his aspirations for the future. According to him, he has major plans and he is confident these plans will come.
