This song is a more easily understood version of Percy Shelley's sonnet Ozymandias. Both dealt with our fleeting time on this earth, and the fact that nothing we do (not even Egyptian Pharaohs) will last. The Bible said it first in Genesis 3:19. "For dust thou art, and to dust thou shalt return." Just dust in the wind....
