In the mid-seventies the girl next door to me had a massive crush on Shaun Cassidy, like every other teenage girl in America in 1977. He was all she talked about. I thought about her today and decided to look up this song. I discovered that the words were "sick of school" and not "skipped school." Other than that, I got the lyrics right.
