This song is about a guy that likes a girl who is already in a relationship. This guy knows that the girl is being abused by her current boyfriend and doesn't understand why she just doesn't leave him. The chorus is this secret admirer so to speak sort of mocking the abusive boyfriend by asking him if hurting an innocent girl makes him feel like a man and telling him that this wont last forever, one day this girl is going to wise up and leave, and he will be left with nothing.
