This is actually one of those sort of songs that give away the meaning of the songs very informative for a reason. It's my favorite because it talks about love in a very interesting light. Since this relates to a lot of people who are in love, I want to point out how sudden verses one and two makes a very clear point on the subject of a breakup. Verse one talks about the sudden grip of trying to hold on to a relationship, while verse two--- in translation ---talks about trying to leave the relationship, but have a very hard time doing it. To me, when you listen to the lyrics more clearly, it seems to talk about a woman who wants to live her life with a broken relationship to come to an end, but the last thing she wants to do is try to say goodbye to the person she loved with good intentions. Honestly, this seems to be more of a sad song than I think it is, but at the same time, its message is like a mirror that relates to a lot of millenials and teens of today. Also, to those that think this is inappropriate, it's actually not. The chorus touch me like you touch no body and put your hands all up on me isn't exactly what you think it means. I think this could be interpreted in many ways, but to me, while thinking about the broken woman, I can interpret this as a sentimental view for trying to love another one more time or trying to be together, like they were before. This just indicates that she wants something she will never have or, in other words, have something that she can never get back, in this case. The lyrics reads into this a lot that the woman is trying to say good bye, but she is afraid of losing him, so she tries her best to remember when she was happy, and not when she was sad. This just reveals more into the story that the lyrics have uncovered for us. She is more like a girl friend that wants to keep the past present, but since the first lyric - we haven't talked all morning - tells us that they had a break up, it would dive in to the plot hole that she is trying to only bring back their relationship, not the memories of the relationship.
